WWII: Invasion of Czechoslovakia (three banknotes) (Billfold)
The German occupation of Czechoslovakia (1938-1945) began with the German annexation of the Sudetenland in 1938, continued with the March 1939 invasion of the Czech lands and creation of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, and by the end of 1944 extended to all parts of the former Czechoslovakia. The Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia convinced Britain and France to end the policy of appeasement, guaranteeing the borders of Poland. This set contains two circulated notes from Bohemia-Moravia, including a 500 korun, as well as a 1 Reichsmark note used by the German military in occupied territories.
